At Nilanjana Rakhit, CPA PC we are a Newton CPA firm providing tax, accounting and financial consulting services to businesses, individuals and other CPA firms in the Greater Boston area since 1999. We pride in being more than an average accounting firm. Our diligence and best practices in solving our client's financial and tax problems in compliance with IRS regulations and accounting principles earned us the reputation of a trusted advisor.

We provide guidance and support in starting and running a business, financial and tax reporting, business combinations, and strategic tax planning for dentists and other healthcare providers, technology and other professionals, e-commerce and retailers, and other small businesses. Nilanjana Rakhit, CPA

Nila's quality of service and personal attention is what separates her. She has over 26 years of experience, 10 years of which is in servicing multi-national companies. Nila started her education and training in liberal arts extending to insurance, finance, accounting, domestic and international tax. Nila began her career with Aetna Life & Casualty, then moved onto bank merger and acquisition analysis, earned her CPA certification while working at Pannell Kerr Forster, then a big 10 accounting firm, and then moved onto work for the Boston Consulting Group, Inc. a leading multi-national strategy consulting firm where she received extensive training in tax accounting and international tax.

While many of Nila's peers provide traditional CPA services, Nila attributes the quality of her service and professionalism to her education in multiple disciplines and training in various industries and geographies and continuous professional education and networking to develop the insight to do what is right for her clients. And that's what helps her earn their trust and makes her work enjoyable.

Nila earned Masters in Taxation from Bentley University, Waltham, MA; Masters in Business Administration from WV University College of Graduate Studies, Charleston, WV and CPA certification in Massachusetts and West Virginia.

Nila is a member of AICPA, and International Tax Committee of Massachusetts Society of CPAs, TiE-Boston, India New England Chamber of Commerce(INEC), Network for South Asian American Women Entrepreneurs and Professional(NetSaw). Nila is the Past President of American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA)-Boston Chapter, and Past-Treasurer of India Association of Greater Boston(IAGB), Bangla-O-Biswa, and The Boston Pledge.
